The Awards and Recognition Committee mission is to set the standard for future employee recognition that all University personnel, departments, and units can ultimately benefit. The Committee works each year to plan, coordinate and host the annual VCU Staff Senate Awards for Excellence, the premier university awards offered within VCU, for VCU and VCU Health staff members.

Committee members are expected to review award submissions and volunteer at the on campus Awards ceremony during the Spring of each year.
